TOKAI RIKA Certified as "DX-Ready" Company

TOKAI RIKA Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroyoshi Ninoyu) was officially designated as a "DX-Ready" company as of October 1, 2021, under the Digital Transformation (DX) Certification system organized by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Based on the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing, this government-recognized system is open to businesses that comply with the core aspects of the Digital Governance Code*1 defined by METI, and that have formulated a management vision, strategy, and organization to promote digital transformation.

As well as recognizing TOKAI RIKA's wide-ranging initiatives that meet the certification criteria, METI has also acknowledged our efforts to carry out DX initiatives and share information throughout the company, including at our production sites.

*1: A set of guidelines for management teams to follow to boost corporate value as digital transformation advances.

Main DX initiatives of TOKAI RIKA

1. Expansion of solutions business to help create more affluent lifestyles and communities

We are helping to create towns and cities in which everyone can live more freely through the use of digital technologies, expanding our business into non-automotive fields, and breaking into new business areas.

2. DXed Machikoba (digitally transformed small plant)

As part of our efforts to transform our competitive environment, we have set the creation of digitally transformed machikoba as an important objective. We are aiming to secure sufficient in-house resources and use those resources to expand our business by raising efficiency and speeding up our work while utilizing digital technologies.
