(Alliance News) - Toscana Aeroporti Spa reported Thursday that it closed the first quarter with a net loss of EUR654,000 from one of EUR1.8 million as of March 31, 2023.

For the quarter, total revenues stood at EUR20.8 million from EUR19.5 million in 2023.

Ebitda as of March 31 is papri to EUR4.3 million from EUR2.6 million in 2023.

Net financial debt is EUR80.6 million from EUR79.6 million as of December 31, 2023.

The company reported that 1.5 million passengers passed through the airport in the first quarter, an increase of 14 percent, higher than that of the Italian airport system of 12 percent.

Marco Carrai, president of Toscana Aeroporti, commented, "Despite the typical seasonality of the first quarter, the Tuscan Airport System recorded a new record in passenger traffic with a consequent improvement in Toscana Aeroporti's economic indicators compared to 2023."

"Despite a complex and uncertain international context, we remain confident and determined in our strategic vision. We will continue to invest in the development of Pisa and Florence airports, with a focus on sustainability as a key factor for the growth of the Toscana Aeroporti group."

On Thursday, Toscana Aeroporti closed in the green by 0.8 percent at EUR12.15 per share.
