Salvador Caetano announced that it has opened a new facility in Dalian, China. The plant will specialise in the production and assembly of buses, and will be owned by a joint venture (JV) between the Portuguese company and Shengyang Brilliance. The JV has a total capital investment of EUR 8 million.
The facility covers three acres, with 55 staff. The plant will produce buses. The plant will also produce electric vehicles (EVs).
