Turboatom : An employee of “Ukrenergymachines” is recognized as the winner of the “Young Person of the Year” contest

The turner of the hydroturbine workshop of "Ukrenergymachines" JSC received the award of the city competition "Young Person of the Year - 2022".

In the nomination "Activities in the field of production, entrepreneurship" of the contest "Young Person of the Year - 2022", the turner of the hydroturbine workshop Sergii Fed became the winner. He professionally performs machining of parts for the assembly of guide vanes for final assembly, machining of servomotors and oil receivers on a unique screw-cutting lathe.

The awarding of the winners and laureates took place in the Kharkiv City Council.

The award ceremony was held by the mayor Igor Terekhov. He congratulated the audience on their victory. "Every day you glorify Kharkiv with your achievements. You are the future, but at the same time, the present of the city. Because it is thanks to you that many processes will take place, and looking at you, older people feel more confident and protected," - he noted.

Igor Terekhov presented young people with awards, diplomas and gratitude from the mayor. The winners of the contest were also awarded cash bonuses.

About 150 people took part in the contest, among which 11 winners and 22 laureates were determined in each of the ten nominations of the contest. The turbine builder who participated in the competition also received his award. It is worth reminding that the contest "Young Person of the Year" will be held in ten categories: "Students of institutions of general secondary education", "Students of institutions of vocational (vocational technical) education", "Students of institutions of higher education of the III levels of accreditation", "Students (cadets) of institutions higher education of the III-IV levels of accreditation", "Scientific activity", "Culture and art", "Physical culture and sport", "Activity in the field of production, entrepreneurship", "Activity in the non-productive sphere" and "Social activity". The age of participants is from 14 to 35 years.

The "Young Person of the Year" contest was founded in 2001. For more than 20 years of existence, more than 6.5 thousand people have taken part in it. The purpose of the contest is to support gifted and talented youth, their achievements in various fields of scientific, industrial, social and cultural life.
