Tanja zu Waldeck joins the Goldbach Group's Board of Directors

Dr Tanja zu Waldeck, Chief Operating Oficer (COO) of BurdaForward, has been elected to the Goldbach Group's Board of Directors. At the same time, Christoph Tonini and Jens Alder are stepping down from the Board.

Küsnacht, 04 April 2023 - The Goldbach Group's Board of Directors is undergoing a reorganisation. Christoph Tonini, CEO and delegate of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Marketplace Group SMG since February 2023, is stepping down from the Board but will continue to serve as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Goldbach Media AG. Jens Alder has also decided to leave the Board afer ten years (including a stint as Chairman from 2013 to 2018).

Dr Tanja zu Waldeck, COO at BurdaForward, has now been elected to the Board of Directors of the Goldbach Group in their stead. An expert in the digital field, she started her career as a consultant at McKinsey, before founding an online portal for mothers that she sold to TOMORROW FOCUS AG (Burda) in 2012. She was part of the executive management of BurdaForward Advertising GmbH since 2016 and has held her current role as COO of BurdaForward since 2017.
