Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC acquired USC Atlantic, Inc. from U.S. Concrete, Inc.

U.S. Concrete, Inc. is a heavy building materials supplier of aggregates and ready-mixed concrete in select geographic markets in the United States, the United States Virgin Islands and Canada. The Company operates through two segments: ready-mixed concrete and aggregate products. Ready-mixed concrete segment engages in the formulation, production and delivery of ready-mixed concrete to the customers’ job sites. It provides its ready-mixed concrete from its operations in Texas, New Jersey, New York City, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Northern California, Oklahoma and the United States Virgin Islands. Aggregate products segment produces crushed stone, sand and gravel from approximately 20 aggregates facilities located in British Columbia, Canada, Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey, New York, and the United States, Virgin Islands. It sells aggregates for use in commercial, industrial and public works projects, as well as consume them internally in the production of ready-mixed concrete.
