On April 15, 2020, the Board of Directors of Unifi, Inc. (the Company) appointed Edmund M. Ingle as Chief Executive Officer of the company and elected him as a director, both effective as of July 1, 2020 (the Start Date). As an employee of the Company, Mr. Ingle will not serve on any Board committees. Effective as of the Start Date, the Company has deemed that Mr. Ingle shall be the principal executive officer of the Company for purposes of all documents and certifications to be filed with or submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission or the New York Stock Exchange and for all other similar or related purposes.
On April 20, 2020, Thomas H. Caudle, Jr., the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer, informed the Board that he will retire from such position and as a director of the Company on June 27, 2021. Mr. Caudle's retirement is not a result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.

The Brazil Segment sells recycled and synthetic products to knitters and weavers that produce fabric for the apparel, home furnishings, automotive, industrial, and other end-use markets principally in Brazil. It offers polyester and nylon products, and recycled solutions.
