NASHVILLE, Tenn.- United Community is proud to announce the addition of two experienced leaders and 15 accomplished bankers to its commercial banking team. Brad Edwards is taking the helm as North Middle Tennessee Market President, and Amy Pangelinan is assuming the role of East Tennessee Market President.

Edwards brings more than two decades of banking expertise to United. Prior to joining United, he worked at F&M Bank and held multiple leadership roles, most recently as Nashville City Executive. Additionally, he worked with Regions Bank and has spent the last 25 years working in commercial banking in the Nashville area. He earned his bachelor's degree in mass communications and marketing from Middle Tennessee State University.

Pangelinan comes to United with more than 20 years of banking experience in the Knoxville area. Prior to joining United, Pangelinan served as Knoxville Market President for CapStar Bank. With more than two decades of experience in commercial banking, she has worked with Highlands Union, Pinnacle, and Truist (formerly BB&T). Pangelinan earned her bachelor's degree in management and finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Joining United in Middle Tennessee:
  • Preston Adcock, VP, Relationship Manager, brings more than eight years of wealth experience in the banking industry. He serves on the Board of Directors for Possibility Place, is a member of the Murfreesboro Young Professionals, and is a Diplomat for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
  • Austin Garrett, VP, Commercial Portfolio Manager, contributes nearly a decade of credit analysis and financial expertise to United. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Cumberland University.
  • Kelly Holmes, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, brings more than 20 years of commercial banking experience to United. She is active in the community as an advocate for the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. She received her bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Vanderbilt.
  • Samer Rafidi, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, has more than two decades of banking experience in Middle Tennessee. He holds a degree in human resources management and personnel administration from the University of North Alabama.
  • Jay Roney, SVP, Commercial and Middle Market Relationship Manager, brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial, C&I, and CRE banking to United.
  • Brandon Rowe, VP, Commercial Portfolio Manager, brings credit analysis and commercial portfolio management experience to United. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor's degree in finance.
  • Mary Beth Thomas, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, has more than 15 years of banking experience. Thomas is a graduate of Leadership Clarksville and has served on the board of trustees for the past six years. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Joining United in East Tennessee:
  • Jeff Campbell, SVP, Commercial Portfolio Manager Senior, boasts more than 10 years of banking experience. He received his bachelor's degree in organizational management from Tusculum University.
  • Roberto Crichlow, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, comes to United with more than 20 years of commercial and corporate banking experience. He received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
  • Luke Chill, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, has more than 15 years of banking experience, specifically in commercial lending. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a dual degree in finance and marketing.
  • Hunter Duggan, VP, Relationship Manager, graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • Carla Mounger, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, boasts more than 30 years of banking experience. She is active in the community, having served as President of the North Knoxville Business and Professional Association, Baby Falcons Basketball Coach, and a foster parent.
  • Stephanie McCall, VP, Commercial Loan Assistant Senior,is a 30-year banking veteran in East Tennessee. McCall is a deposit specialist, a recipient of many bank awards for excellent customer service, and a proud graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan University.
  • Tiffany Smith, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, has more than 15 years of experience in commercial banking with CRE and C&I borrowers.
  • Matt Webster, SVP, Commercial Relationship Manager, brings more than two decades of banking experience and specializes in commercial lending. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
