The Company is involved in the extraction, as well as distribution of gold and other precious metals. The Group also offers rendering of services for other organizations and companies. UGC operates through 10 gold mines in four regions of Russia, such as Chelyabinsk and Chita Regions, the Republic of Khakassiya and on the territory of Krasnoyarsk. UGC sells its production mainly to Russian banks. The Company has one branch and seven subsidiaries. Yuzhuralzoloto Gruppa Kompaniy OAO is a 99.99%-owned subsidiary of UGOLD Limited.
