Valero joins Summit's carbon pipeline project

Valero Energy Corporation specializes in refining and distributing petroleum products. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - refining and wholesale distribution of oil products (93.7%): distilled products (46.4% of sales), gasoline (43.2%) and other (10.4%; primarily petrochemical products, diesel, petroleum coke and asphalt). At the end of 2020, the group had 15 petroleum refineries located in the United States (13), Canada and the United Kingdom; - distribution of ethanol (4.6%); - production of renewable diesel (1.6%). Net sales break down geographically as follows: the United States (69.6%), theUnited Kingdom and Ireland (14.3%), Canada (6.6%) and other (9.5%).
