Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. Announces Share Repurchase Plan

Beijing, August 28, 2023 -- Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. ("Xinyuan" or the "Company") (NYSE: XIN), an NYSE-listed real estate developer operating primarily in China and also in other countries, announces the 2023 Share Repurchase Plan.

The Board has decided that, subject to market conditions, the Company shall, from time to time, repurchase Shares on the open market and/or in privately negotiated transactions, and has authorized to repurchase of up to 1,000,000 American Depositary Shares ("ADS").

The Share Repurchase Plan also reflects the confidence of the Board and the management in the current and long-term business outlook and strategy of the Company. The Board considers that the Share Repurchase Plan is in the best interest of the Company and its shareholders as a whole.
