Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software and services, today announced that BAM Management has selected the Agilysys Eatec® inventory and procurement solution and the Agilysys InfoGenesis TM POS system to streamline operations at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, N.J. BAM Management oversees foodservice operations at the popular venue, which is using the Agilysys solutions at 26 food and beverage outlets, ranging from casual concessions to upscale dining.

"The Eatec and InfoGenesis systems are among the most powerful and reliable on the market, and Monmouth Park is already seeing significant benefits from their implementation," said Kevin Markland, who oversees BAM Management's operations at the racetrack. "The seamless integration between the two systems ensures accurate and up-to-date information on product sales and inventory depletion as well as a platform for comprehensive and reliable reporting. With these systems in place, we have all the tools we need to be proactive and accountable and are confident that profitability and guest service will soar."

Ben Aiello, president of BAM Management, agreed. "We appreciate the tight integration between the Eatec and InfoGenesis systems, which enhances efficiency and reduces costs across the entire venue. Additionally, the InfoGenesis POS system integrates with our loss prevention and surveillance solution, which helps us detect fraud, errors and inefficiencies quickly. Foodservice operations at the track have already improved, and we only expect them to get better."

The Eatec solution is a Microsoft® Windows®-based full-featured inventory, procurement and production system designed specifically for the hospitality and foodservice industries. Along with its core purchasing, inventory, recipe, forecasting, production and sales analysis functions, the software also offers modules for catering, cycle planning, retail management, nutrition and allergens. The modular structure allows customers to construct the exact set of features they need -- whether it is an enterprise-wide solution for multiple sites or a single-site system for multiple functions.

The InfoGenesis POS system is an award-wining point-of-sale solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with a fast, intuitive and easy-to-use terminal application. The flexible system is easy to set up, and its scalable architecture enables customers to add workstations without having to build out expensive infrastructure. It also integrates easily with other applications, such as loss prevention and guest management solutions. The system's detailed and high-quality reporting capabilities give insight into sales data and purchasing trends. Other features include packages and prix-fixe menus, signature capture and multi-language capability. InfoGenesis POS is available as an on-premise or hosted solution.

"During race season, Monmouth Park serves tens of thousands of customers, so the technology it uses has to be reliable and robust," said Tony Ross, vice president of sales for Agilysys. "The Eatec and InfoGenesis systems offer an unbeatable combination, working hand-in-hand to streamline efficiency, reduce costs and deliver an outstanding guest experience. Moreover, the solutions provide the information necessary for insightful analysis, which will result in more informed and profit-driven decisions."
