BNY Mellon announced today that Susan Revell has been appointed to the newly created role of Deputy Chair of EMEA with immediate effect.

This is an important role to the region and Susan brings to this position significant knowledge of our business, deep relationships with regulators and key market influencers, and a strong understanding of all we need to accomplish to position our EMEA business for the future.

Susan retains her responsibility as General Counsel for the region, responsibilities for oversight of our risk and compliance functions, for driving our EMEA public policy, advocacy and external agenda, and regional leadership for BNY Mellon's EMEA corporate project management office.

Susan joined BNY Mellon in 2013 from Morgan Stanley, where she worked for over 17 years in a number of increasingly senior legal and regulatory related positions.
