Waterloo, Ontario - February 12, 2016 - BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY; TSX: BB) today announced the company has entered into a patent license agreement with Canon Inc. for certain power charging technology used by Canon products.

An agreement between the two companies was reached in November 2015. Specific terms of the deal are confidential.
