CGI : announces details for its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and release of fiscal 2017 first quarter results

CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) will host its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and release its fiscal 2017 first quarter results on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Oval Room, 1228 Sherbrooke Street West, in Montreal at 11 a.m. (EST). For those who are unable to attend in person, the Company will webcast the meeting live on its website at cgi.com/ investors.

CGI shareholders of record at the close of business on Monday, December 12, 2016 will be entitled to vote on matters considered at the meeting. CGI uses the Notice and Access rules adopted by the Canadian securities regulators. On December 21, 2016, a Notice of Meeting was mailed to shareholders with instructions for accessing the material distributed for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders online. The 2016 Management Proxy Circular and 2016 Annual Report were also mailed to shareholders who had requested it. These documents are available on the Company's website.

In addition, CGI will release its fiscal 2017 first quarter results on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 before markets open and hold its first quarter conference call at 9:00 a.m. (EST) on that day.
