Stuttgart/Geneva. Going out in style: the brand is bidding a fond farewell to a classic with two exclusive special models, the"smart fortwo edition MOSCOT" and the "smart fortwo edition flashlight", based on the current smart cabrio. The two new smart fortwo and smart forfour model series will also be unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show. New features here include the smart BRABUS tailor made individualisation programme and the twinamic dual clutch transmission.

Under the banner "Keep moving - stay original!", the designers from smart and the New York cult eyewear brand MOSCOT have created the special black and yellow "smart fortwo edition MOSCOT", which will be produced in a limited run of 100 units. They have also designed the "LEMTOSH smart" glasses, which provide for perfect vision on the road in all weather conditions as part of the "MOSCOT smart Drive Package". The most striking exterior feature of the "smart fortwo edition MOSCOT" is the combination of body panels in deep glossy black with a matt yellow tridion safety cell with a matt black accent stripe. The colour contrast between black and yellow also defines the interior of the "smart fortwo edition MOSCOT": seats, knee pad, instrument cluster, door panelling and door pockets come in black leather. The exclusive two-seater cabrio is powered by the BRABUS 75 kW turbo engine.

A no less colourful special model of the smart cabrio is also set to herald in the spring: the "smart fortwo edition flashlight". Matt crystal white or deep black are the exclusive bodypanel colours. The tridion safety cell always comes in lava orange, as do the door mirror caps. Other distinctive features include a black radiator grille, black 3-spoke alloy wheels with hub covers in contrasting lava orange, H7 projection headlights with titanium-coloured surrounds and the edition logo in the mirror triangle. The limited special model is available in Europe as a cabrio with petrol engine and electric drive.

From this year, thesmart BRABUS tailor madeindividualisation programme will also be available for the new smart generation. Two customised smart fortwos and one smart forfour will provide an idea of the virtually endless scope available at the Geneva International Motor Show. Highlights include special paintwork in "lizard green", "spring break orange" and "darknight blue" and the sporty tailor made exterior design for the two smart fortwos. The interior is further embellished by a customised nappa leather finish for the seats, dashboard and steering wheel rim.

A unique feature in the small and mini car segment is thetwinamic dual clutch transmission, which combines the comfort of automatic gear-shifting in urban traffic with the option of manual operation. Manual gear-shifting is possible using the selector lever in a separate gate or by means of the shift paddles included in the Sports package. The smart fortwo rated at52 kW/ 71 hp is the first model of the new smart generation to be available with this state-of-the-art dual clutch transmission.
