  • Launch of the new FleetBoard Drivers' League

The new FleetBoard Cockpit boosts efficiency when performing and controlling all tasks relating to the management of transport, time and maintenance. At the 2014 International Commercial Vehicle show (IAA), Daimler FleetBoard is also presenting FleetBoard driving analysis with extended functionality and launching the new Drivers' League.

FleetBoard Cockpit: new interface, integrated management

One click and a complete overview is provided. The new FleetBoard Cockpit combines all FleetBoard services for driver, vehicle and transport management in a clear interface that is intuitive to use. The way that services are able to interact opens up new potential for improving efficiency. For example, in FleetBoard Cockpit users are able to see the position of every individual vehicle in the fleet, as well as drivers' activity and availability status along with a forecast of their remaining driving time.

FleetBoard driving analysis with new functionality

At the International Commercial Vehicle show, Daimler FleetBoard is presenting its driving analysis service with extended display functions. Users can see from the data evaluation whether the driver is driving without cruise control, with the limiter or with Predictive Powertrain Control (PPC). When settings are optimised it is possible to fully leverage PPC's potential. In future, it will also be possible to use the service to calculate AdBlue consumption. Another new feature of driving analysis is that the selected driving program is displayed. There are also new servicing-related features, for example tyre pressure is shown as part of monitoring the vehicle's status.

Launch of the new FleetBoard Drivers' League

Who is the most foresighted driver? The FleetBoard Drivers' League will be giving drivers and fleets in 21 countries the opportunity to demonstrate their skills from 1 October. The aim is to achieve the best score for driving style in the FleetBoard performance analysis. Scores are based on factors relating to consumption and wear - the most efficient driver wins! Saving fuel becomes fun and doubly rewarding because drivers have the chance to win attractive prizes and companies are able to cut costs.
