In reference to Current Report No. 8/2014 of 26 June 2014, the Warsaw Stock Exchange ("Exchange", "Company", "WSE") informs that today it has received a decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority concerning approval of change on the Management Board of the Exchange consisting in the appointment of Mr Paweł Tamborski as the President of the Company's Management Board.
As a result, the second of the conditions set in Resolution No. 3 of the WSE Ordinary General Meeting dated 26 June 2014 concerning appointment of the President of the Exchange Management Board for a new term of office has been fulfilled. The fulfillment of the first condition, i.e., Mr Paweł Tamborski's receipt of the consent of the Committee for the Review of Requests for Consent for Employment of Persons Who Performed Public Functions to take position of President of the Exchange Management Board, was notified by the WSE in Current Report No. 11/2014 of 8 July 2014.
In connection with the fulfillment of the two conditions mentioned above, Resolution No. 3 of the WSE Ordinary General Meeting dated 26 June 2014, appointing Mr Paweł Tamborski as the President of the Exchange Management Board for a new term of office, shall enter into force on the date of the Ordinary General Meeting's approval of the Company's financial statements for the year 2013.
Legal basis: § 5.1 (22) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 19 February 2009 on current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and on conditions under which information required by legal regulations of a third country may be recognised as equivalent.
