Gielda Papierów Wartosciowych w Warszawie S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was PLN 88.44 million compared to PLN 90.62 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 31.14 million compared to PLN 36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 0.74 compared to PLN 0.86 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was PLN 297.76 million compared to PLN 300.06 million a year ago. Net income was PLN 107.25 million compared to PLN 119.89 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PLN 2.56 compared to PLN 2.86 a year ago.
Gielda Papierow Wartosciowych w Warszawie SA (Warsaw Stock Exchange, GPW) is a Poland-based stock exchange. It is a parent entity of WSE Group that offers products and services within its trading markets of equity, derivate, fixed income and structured products. It also distributes market data. The Company has two business lines: Financial market, which includes trading in equities, derivatives, fixed-income and other instruments, listing, and information services; and Commodity market, which includes trading in electricity and property rights in certificates of origin, operation of a register of certificates of origin, clearing, trade and technical trade operator services.
