Communiqué
The Warsaw Stock Exchange announces that based on the Management Board resolutions no. 42/2007 of January 16, 2007 and no. 472/2012 of May 21, 2012, as amended, following the trading session on September 19, 2014 there will be a quarterly revision concerning WIG, WIG-CEE, WIG-Poland, WIG-Ukraine indices and a quarterly adjustment concerning WIGdiv index.
WIG and WIG-Poland indices comprise of all companies traded on the WSE Main List and meet indices criteria, subject the WIG-Poland index covers only domestic companies. Following the revision rules weighting of PKOBP in both indices will be reduced to 10% and weighting of banking sector will be limited to 30%.
Following the revision rules, ICMVISION and SADOVAYA companies will be removed from the WIG-CEE index portfolio, while weightings of CEZ, KRKA and MOL will be reduced to 25%.
From the WIG-Ukraine index portfolio KSGAGRO and WESTAISIC companies will be removed, while weightings of KERNEL company will be reduced to 40%.
In the WIGdiv index weightings of BZWBK, KGHM, ORANGEPL, PEKAO and PZU will be limited to 10%, but its portfolio remain unchanged.
Simultaneously with the WIG index portfolio revision there will be a revision in the sector sub-indices.
The new indices' portfolios effective after the revision are available on the WSE web site at www.wse.com.pl
