WSE to start cooperation with one of the prominent figures
of CEE capital markets

As of June 2012, the Warsaw Stock Exchange has hired Mr
Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy, the former President of the
Budapest Stock Exchange and former Global Head of
UniCredit's Securities Services, as the Senior Advisor
to the President and CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
"With Mr Szalay-Berzeviczy's appointment we want to
reinforce the Warsaw Stock Exchange's commitment to its
current regional strategy, by addressing some particular
developments in the frame of our regional activities" -
said dr Ludwik Sobolewski, President and CEO of the
WSE.
Mr Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy, who headed the Hungarian
exchange between 2004 and 2008 and served as the Managing
Director and later Global Head of UniCredit Group's
Global Securities Services between 1999 and 2011 will be
supporting the Warsaw Stock Exchange in strengthening its
international relations and international strategy with the
special focus on Central and Eastern Europe. He will also
act as a representative of the Warsaw exchange in Hungary,
which as a result becomes the second location outside
Poland, alongside the WSE representative office in Kyiv,
Ukraine, where the WSE maintains its permanent
presence.

It is a parent entity of WSE Group that offers products and services within its trading markets of equity, derivate, fixed income and structured products. It also distributes market data.
