This award is a prestigious, highly competitive, internationally recognised affirmation of the significant achievements of an organisation in Theory of Constraints (TOC). It recognises breakthrough, game-changing solutions which help companies to excel, and that have become industry benchmarks.
GCPL has been awarded the 'Platinum Level International TOC Excellence Award 2015' for sustained progress in TOC practices over the last 11 years and the exceptional operational results that the company has achieved as a result of this. "We are delighted to be the first company in the world to receive the Platinum Level International TOC Excellence Award 2015 from the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organisation. Having a global, best-in-class supply chain organisation is a key driver of our growth strategy and overall ambition of being a leading global FMCG player. We have been investing significantly over the last few years in improving our capabilities to become more agile. In line with this, we have integrated leading practices in demand driven supply chain, continuous replenishment and the Theory of Constraints, to make our company more responsive to continuously changing consumer demand patterns. We are also sharing best practices and

learning across the different geographies that we are present in. As a result of these efforts, many

of our practices have now become industry benchmarks."

Dr. Sinha was a keynote speaker at the TOCICO International Conference 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa, where he shared his perspectives on how GCPL has led the first TOC viable vision implementation in the world. GCPL has, over the last decade, adopted and built on TOC practices to significantly improve performance. The company has also implemented these practices
globally over the last four years, across the different countries where it is present, resulting in
sizeable business impact.
