Amberg, June 30, 2017 - Grammer AG has received this year's ETM Award for 'best brand' in the passenger seat category. With the ETM Award, the 11,400 readers of the trade journals published by ETM Verlag 'Fernfahrer', 'Lastauto Omnibus' and 'Transaktuell' together with the Dekra organization of independent experts select the best commercial vehicles as well as the best commercial vehicle brands. The coveted ETM Award is presented in a total of 13 vehicle categories and 27 'best brand' categories. This year marked the debut of the award in the 'passenger seats' category. Grammer was able to prevail over the very strong competition, achieving first place right from the start. The ETM award is renowned as an important measure of brand positioning within the commercial vehicle sector.
With its innovative seating systems, Grammer is the global number one in offroad vehicles and one of the leading producers of seats for trucks, buses and rail. Grammer's Commercial Vehicles Division, which includes passenger seat business, recorded an encouraging 9.8 percent increase in revenue to EUR 134 million in the first quarter of the current year.
