Antje Leminsky succeeds Wolfgang Grenke

Baden-Baden, March 1, 2018: Wolfgang Grenke has retired yesterday from the Board of Directors of GRENKE AG as previously announced. The former Deputy Chair of the Board, Antje Leminsky, assumes the position as Chair of the Board of Directors today. In addition to her former responsibilities for IT and Personnel Strategy she will also now be responsible for Group Strategy, Risk Controlling and the Credit Center. Sebastian Hirsch, who as a member of the Board of Directors is responsible for the Controlling, M&A and Treasury divisions, will also assume responsibility for the Legal, Tax and Investor Relations departments.

The Chairman of GRENKE AG's Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. Ernst-Moritz Lipp, thanked Wolfgang Grenke on behalf of the Supervisory Board, Board of Directors and all of the employees saying: "It has always been a great pleasure for us to work together with an energetic and visionary entrepreneur such as Wolfgang Grenke. From small beginnings you have created a global corporation, and now it will be our task to continue this strategy. We sincerely wish you all the best for the future!"

Wolfgang Grenke will remain committed to the Company and declared his readiness to assume a role on the Supervisory Board of GRENKE AG in due time.
