HORNBY ANNOUNCES NEW MERCEDES-BENZ F1 LICENSE
AS TEAM CLAIMS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WIN
Hornby Plc ("Hornby"), the international hobby products Group, is pleased to confirm a new worldwide licensing agreement with Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Limited which will see the F1 World Championship team replicated across Scalextric, Airfix, and Corgi products.
Hornby owns the iconic Hornby model rail product range. It has evolved to incorporate famous global brands such as Airfix and Humbrol in model kits and paints, Corgi in die-cast and Scalextric slot racing. Hornby has further expanded internationally with the acquisition of Electrotren, Rivarossi, Jouef and Arnold.
The new range of products is already under development and will be on display at the London Toy Fair in January 2015 with shipments commencing in the second half of 2015.
