(Alliance News) - Hornby PLC on Thursday said Lyndon Davies will step down as non-executive chair on April 30 due to "personal, health related, reasons."

The Margate, England-based scale model railway manufacturer said Davies will continue to serve on the board as non-executive director, however.

John Stansfield, an existing non-executive director and previous chair, will step into the role as interim independent non-executive chair while a replacement for Davies is found.

"The group thanks Lyndon for his service in the role over the last 15 months and welcome his continued involvement on the board," Hornby said.

Shares in Hornby rose 0.3% to 33.10 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
