Inspirit Energy Holdings PLC is a United Kingdom-based developer of micro-Combined Heat and Power (mCHP) boilers. Its principal activity is that of an investment company which aims to invest in products or technologies that are either proven or at the later stages of development, which owns or has an exclusive license to the relevant intellectual property. It applies its expertise in the application of the Stirling engine technology in different sectors including marine and waste heat recovery. It is pursuing the development and commercialization of a mCHP boiler for use in commercial and residential markets. The mCHP boiler is powered by natural gas or hydrogen and designed to produce hot water and a simultaneous electrical output that can be used locally or fed back into the National Grid. It has been working with its engineering partners on the fine details of the new Waste Heat Recovery for the application on the Volvo marine engine. Its subsidiary is Inspirit Energy Limited.
