Sales Start - The Newest Model JMS-T200GC High-end GC-TOFMS(Gas Chromatograph -Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer)
2015/01/08
JEOL Ltd. (President Gon-emon Kurihara) will launch the sales of JMS-T200GC, which is the newest model of our JMS-T100GCV Gas Chromatograph-Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometers, on January 8, 2015. This product continues to have the features of "versatile ionization methods" and "high speed spectrum acquisition" as it is and improved its basic performance of mass resolution and detection sensitivity. Our company has sold GC-TOFMS worldwide since the first introduction of the initial model of high-end GC-TOFMS in 2004, and the JMS-T200GC, which we are starting to market, will be top model product among past models.
Main Features
High speed data(spectrum) acquisition at high mass resolution possible
While this is a TOFMS realizing high mass resolution, it enables measurements of 50 spectra/sec. at its maximum speed. By combining with a comprehensive two dimensional gas chromatograph(GC
× GC), it realized ultra-high separation, high sensitivity, and high mass resolution. It can be a strong tool for analysis of complicated mixtures of various kinds of components.
Response to versatile ionization methods
Employing the ion source for the Electron Ionization (EI) method which is most widely used with GC/MS, as standard, it can equip ion sources such as Chemical Ionization (CI) ion source, Field Desorption Ionization (FD)/ Field Ionization (FI) ion sources as option. In addition, it can equip the ion source common for EI/FD/FI, which enables EI, FD/FI measurement without exchanging the ion source, thus it can provide measurements by using easier and simpler versatile ionization sources.
Direct introduction probe option
In addition to the sample introduction method by gas chromatograph, two kinds of direct introduction probes can be equipped as options. Use of the heater type probe (Direct Insertion Probe:DIP) which allows heating of a sample in a micro glass tube by heater, as well as a filament type Direct Exposure Probe (DEP) which allows immediate heating and vaporization of liquid samples, enables direct measurement of not only liquid but also of solid samples.
