Configured in both cogeneration and combined cycle modes,
these gas fired power plants are capable of delivering a
total output of 165MW. Over the last eight years Wood Group
GTS has completed field service work and gas turbine
combustion inspections for Sime Darby; however this latest
award represents an investment in services focused on
increasing the life cycle value of Sime Darby's gas turbine
power generation technology.

Wood Group GTS has also recently been awarded an additional
contract by Sime Darby for the overhaul of a GE Frame 6B
compressor rotor at the Laem Chabang power station. All work
related to this contract will be performed within Wood Group
