Landstar System : Names June Employees of the Month

Landstar System, Inc., a worldwide, asset-light provider of integrated transportation management solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation services, has named Shelley Conklin and Shana Rhamy as Employees of the Month.
Shana Rhamy works out of the Rockford, Illinois service center as a Solutions Provider in the Automotive Operations department. Rhamy's supervisors say she not only goes above and beyond on a daily basis, but recently she spent extra time with a Landstar BCO to help resolve an outstanding issue. Rhamy was nominated for her dedication, efficiency and professionalism.
Shelley Conklin works out of the Jacksonville, Florida service center as the Inspection Services/Technical Administrator in the Compliance-Operator/Equipment department. Conklin was recently named co-chair of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Brake Safety Committee, where she helps educate inspection technicians and improve technical schools. She was nominated for her commitment in overseeing 350 inspection vendors who inspect equipment leased to or owned by Landstar.
Landstar President and CEO Jim Gattoni commended Conklin and Rhamy for their dedication to Landstar.
'The dedication demonstrated by our June Employees of the Month is second to none. Their talents, diligence and professionalism while working with Landstar's BCOs and vendors are a big part of what makes Landstar an industry leader,' said Gattoni.
