Landstar System : Names May Employees of the Month

Landstar System, Inc., a worldwide, asset-light provider of integrated transportation management solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation services, has named Cindy Damato and Tom Steinhagen Employees of the Month.
Tom Steinhagen works out of the Rockford, Illinois service center as the Senior Network Security Engineer in IS-Data Operations. Steinhagen was nominated for going above and beyond his job duties when there was an equipment malfunction in the Rockford computer room. Steinhagen monitored the situation after normal business hours and prevented damage to the equipment.
Cindy Damato works in the Jacksonville, Florida service center as the Administrative Assistant for Regions 4 & 5's Managers, Corporate Sales and Field Vice Presidents. Damato joined the Landstar family 29 years ago and was nominated for being a prime example of dedication in supporting Landstar's corporate sales team and Landstar independent agents.
Landstar CEO and President Jim Gattoni commended both employees on their dedication.
