Lloyd Fonds Aktiengesellschaft: Klaus M. Pinter appointed to the Management Board

The Supervisory Board of Lloyd Fonds AG has appointed Klaus M. Pinter to the Management Board of Lloyd Fonds AG, a Hamburg-based investment and asset manager, with effect from August 1, 2017. In this position, he will be responsible for all asset areas, in particular shipping and real estate as well as sales. Pinter takes over the real estate sector of Holger Schmitz, who was responsible for this area until March 2017.

In connection with this new appointment to the Management Board, Dr. Torsten Teichert's contract as Chairman of the Management Board of Lloyd Fonds AG has also been renewed. As in the past, he is responsible for corporate strategy, corporate communications and finance. The two contracts expire on June 30, 2019.

"With this addition to its Management Board, Lloyd Fonds AG is well positioned to advance its strategic development and to spur its growth", says Dr. Stefan Rindfleisch, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lloyd Fonds AG. In the previous two years, the Company has been able to double its net profit and distribute dividends. As a result, the share price has also increased encouragingly.

"Over the last months we have been developing many new projects. We now want to establish these successfully in the market place. I am greatly looking forward to continuing to working towards developing the Company successfully with Klaus Pinter," says Dr. Torsten Teichert. "Currently, there is a particularly high need for real estate investments. But there are already investment opportunities in the shipping and transport sector", says Klaus M. Pinter.

Pinter (42) has been general manager of Lloyd Fonds AG since June 2016. Prior to this, he had held various management positions from 2006 until 2015 at Commerzbank, where he recently established a very successful shipping asset platform in conjunction with Hanseatic Ship Management GmbH (HSAM).

Teichert (60) has been a member of Lloyd Fonds AG's management for 17 years and its Chief Executive Officer since 2001.
