Notice Concerning the Repurchase and Cancellation of Own Shares

NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") resolved at a meeting of its Board of Directors held on February 26, 2018, to repurchase of own shares, pursuant to the provisions of Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act and to cancellation of own shares pursuant to the provisions of Article 178 of the Companies Act, as described below.
