No Ads+ is warmly received by consumers. On-schedule execution of strategic measures - expectations for the Group's financial performance for 2014 are maintained

EBIT before special items of DKK 27 million was realised for H1 2014. Developments in the year's first six months match Management's expectations, for which reason Group EBIT before special items is still expected to range between DKK 50 million and DKK 75 million for 2014.

"In the first half of 2014 we continued our efforts to create several strong and profitable business pillars based on firm execution of our strategic key focus areas. We have successfully implemented the roll-out of No Ads+, integrated eight acquired local newspapers and reduced the loss of the Online segment. This means that, in a highly pressured distribution and ad market characterised by major structural changes, we've maintained our activity and earnings level and enhanced our financial resources," says Lars Nymann Andersen, Chief Executive Officer of North Media.
