UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Visits SINGULUS Production Line for Crystalline Solar Cells at the BOD Group in Lithuania

Kahl am Main, November 25, 2013 - During his travelling through the Baltics the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon visited the BOD Group (BOD) in Lithuania. The new production line for crystalline solar cells (Solare), which was supplied by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES, Germany, (SINGULUS) was in the spotlight of the company's visits. On October 15, 2013 BOD celebrated the production start of the new manufacturing line for crystalline solar cells.

"It is a great honor, pleasure and privilege to find out things I did not know, - said Secretary-General of United Nations after acquaintance with solar cells manufacturing process. - Companies like this contributes to United Nations' and my personal initiative to develop and expand renewable resources. Lithuania is a great example of how small countries can contribute to a global well-being".
