The Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. ('Company') presents selected estimated consolidated financial figures of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. Capital Group for the first half of 2016.

Sales revenue: approx. PLN 8 940 million
EBITDA (operating profit increased by depreciation, amortization and write-offs for non-financial assets): approx. PLN 1 650 million
EBIT (operating profit): approx. PLN 130 million
Net loss: approx. PLN 10 million

The above results take into account the write-off of impaired generation assets from the Generation segment to be included in the consolidated financial statements for the first half of 2016 about which the Company informed in current report No. 30/2016 of 26 July 2016, and which resulted in EBIT decrease by approx. PLN 710 million and net result decrease by approx. PLN 590 million.

In addition, the Company reserves that the consolidated financial statements of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. Capital Group are reviewed by certified auditor which means that the presented values are estimated and may change. The consolidated report for the first half of 2016 will be published on 17 August 2016.
