Following a competitive design pitch Robson Brown has been appointed by The Vineyard Group to develop the brand and launch a marketing campaign for a new hotel in Cirencester.

Named recently as one of the Hot New Hotels for 2014 by The Times, The Kings Head, a grade 2 listed building, is undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme and is due to open in early summer 2014.

Closed for redevelopment in 2007, The Kings Head will re-open as a modern, elegant hotel offering 45 stylish bedrooms, meetings facilities and a subterranean spa ,as well asan all-day dining option offering the very best of modern British food and an exceptional wine list..

The stone carvings on the building of previous hotel residents is reflected in the brand identity, and the brand concept of "Head Space" neatly positions the hotel as a place to escape to, to clear your mind or to replenish body and soul.

Kara Hackett, Sales and Marketing Director says: "We liked the approach and the time that Robson Brown took to understand the offering and fabric of the building, consulting with us every step of the way to create an inspiring brand message that will make The Kings Head stand out in the Cotswold marketplace."

Robson Brown is part of The Mission Marketing Group plc (the missiontm), the national marketing communications and advertising group including Addiction, April-Six, Balloon Dog, Big Communications, Bray Leino, RLA, ThinkBDW, Solaris, Story and Yucca
