Verint® Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) today announced that Aparajita (Apa) Gupta of Firstsource Solutions, Ltd., a global business process management company, has been named a finalist in the fifth annual Constellation SuperNova Award competition—a program that recognizes leaders and teams driving the most successful technology transformation projects.

The 2015 SuperNova Award finalists were selected from more than 250 applications, and acknowledged by the SuperNova Award judges as individuals who demonstrate forethought and creativity in successfully implementing emerging technologies for their organizations. SuperNova Award winners are determined by a combination of public votes and a formal judging process. The industry can vote for Gupta during the public polling, which is open through October 2.

As Firstsource’s vice president of customer interaction analytics, Gupta has led the development of the company’s First Customer Intelligence (FCI) offering designed to “decode” and gain more intelligence from the day to day interactions it has with its clients. It also leverages data analytics to drive performance, enhance customer experiences, grow the capability of its customers to win new clients, and expand business with existing clients.

Firstsource leverages Verint’s customer analytics solutions to collect and analyze feedback, and mine recorded calls through speech analytics, as well as apply text analytics to email, chat, web forms and social media. This allows Firstsource to capture the entire customer interaction and emotional journey. The data is then used to determine if processes are working as designed, gauge productivity metrics, and identify areas for customer care enhancements and revenue growth.
