Williams-Sonoma hosts Ina Garten in Beverly Hills today at the final stop of a five-city tour for Garten’s new cookbook, Make It Ahead. Garten held speaking engagements in Boston, Chicago, Cupertino and Denver earlier in the month hosted by the retailer. The tour, announced in May, was followed by a limited pre-sale period of tickets and signed copies of the book, exclusively available from Williams-Sonoma for this tour. Garten will be providing tips, recipes and kitchen picks from her new cookbook for Williams-Sonoma throughout the holidays and the end of the year. The content will appear on the company’s social platforms and website. This also marks the first Williams-Sonoma catalog appearance by the culinary personality.

Williams-Sonoma completed a Christmas theme photo shoot with Garten in August for the holiday catalog scheduled to arrive in customers’ homes on December 2. Referring to the catalog spread, Anna Last, SVP, Creative at Williams-Sonoma said, “We aim to inspire home cooks with each mailing and working with Ina in her own surroundings allowed us to show how she presents a delicious holiday table. Ina is a gracious host and that comes across on our pages.”

Williams-Sonoma released behind-the-scenes photography from the shoot on Instagram in August. The brand’s President, Janet Hayes remarked, “Ina Garten is an icon and continues to resonate with our brand’s customers across all ages and demographics which has been reinforced by the strong level of early engagement we’ve seen promoting her book tour appearances; we’re so pleased to be partnering with her.” For more information on the tour and purchasing the book visit http://www.williams-sonoma.com/pages/exclusive-ina-garten-event.html.
