BAODING, China, Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), the largest vertically integrated photovoltaic ("PV") module manufacturer in the world, known as "Yingli Solar", today provided a statement with regards to the European Union's recent announcements to impose definitive anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties and to confirm the acceptance of the price undertakings effective from August 6(th), 2013.

On December 5(th), 2013, the EU published regulations imposing definitive anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties. The EU Commission decision confirming the acceptance of the price undertakings entered into effect on Friday, December 6(th) for a period of two years, ending on December 6(th), 2015. The duties are imposed without retroactive effect but the provisional anti-dumping duties of 11.8% (starting from June 6(th), 2013 to August 5(th), 2013) will be collected.
