Aboitiz Power Corp. is a holding company. The Company holds investments in power generation and distribution companies in the Philippines. The Company’s segments include Power Generation, Power Distribution, Parent Company and Others. The Power Generation segment is engaged in the generation and supply of power to various customers under power supply contracts, ancillary service procurement agreements and trading. The Power Distribution segment is engaged in the distribution and sale of electricity to the end-users. The Parent Company and Others segment, which includes the operations of the Company, retail electricity sales to various off takers that are eligible contestable customers and electricity related services of the Group such as installation of electrical equipment. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary is Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI), which is engaged in the business of power generation.
