For the period, the company reported net sales of ¥10,948 million, operating income of ¥2,241 million, ordinary income of ¥2,067 million and net income attributable to shareholders of the company of ¥1,384 million or ¥43.50 per share compared to net sales of ¥10,559 million, operating income of ¥1,880 million, ordinary income of ¥2,144 million and net income attributable to shareholders of the company of ¥1,374 million or ¥43.18 per share a year ago period. Net assets per share were ¥1,847.76 as on June 30, 2016. Income before income taxes and minority interests was ¥2,067,302,000 against ¥2,144,469,000 a year ago.

The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the first half of fiscal 2016 and full year ending March 31, 2017. For the first half, the company expects net sales of ¥23,509 million, operating income of ¥4,316 million, ordinary income of ¥4,671 million and net income attributable to shareholders of the company of ¥3,059 million or ¥96.12 per share.

For the full year, the company expects net sales of ¥50,061 million, operating income of ¥9,654 million, ordinary income of ¥9,895 million and net income attributable to shareholders of the company of ¥6,592 million or ¥207.14 per share.
