Batu Kawan Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company operates through four segments: Plantation, Manufacturing, Property Development, and Investment holding/Others. The Plantation segment is engaged in the cultivation and processing of palm and rubber products. The Manufacturing segment is involved in the manufacturing of chemicals and transportation services, oleochemicals, non-ionic surfactants and esters, rubber gloves, parquet flooring products, and storing and distribution of bulk liquid. The Property Development segment is involved in the development of residential and commercial properties. The Investment holding/Others segment is engaged in the investment in quoted and unquoted corporations, investment in money market funds and placement of deposits with licensed banks, farming, management services and chemicals manufacturing by an associate.
