BlackRock Core Bond Trust Reports Earnings Results for the Full Year Ended December 31, 2023

BlackRock Core Bond Trust (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income and capital appreciation. The Trust seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 75% of its managed assets in bonds that are investment grade quality at the time of investment. The Trust intends to invest its assets primarily in a diversified portfolio of investment grade bonds, which may include, but are not limited to, corporate bonds, United States (U.S.) government and agency securities and mortgage-related securities. The Trust may invest up to 25% of its total managed assets in bonds that, at the time of investment, are rated Ba/BB or below by Moody’s Investors Service, Inc., S&P Global Ratings, Fitch Ratings or another nationally recognized rating agency or bonds that are unrated but judged to be of comparable quality by the investment adviser.
