Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 1,150.24 million compared to MXN 982.84 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 478.73 million compared to MXN 379.23 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.9 compared to MXN 0.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.9 compared to MXN 0.7 a year ago.
Bolsa Mexicana De Valores SAB de CV (BMV) is a Mexico-based company engaged in the financial market operations. The Company's activities are divided into six business segments: Stock Exchange, operating the Mexican stock exchange; Derivatives, listing and trading future and option contracts; Brokerage, providing brokerage services for securities enrolled in the National Securities Registry; Settlements, offering clearing and settlement services for financial and commodities derivatives and securities transactions; Custody, providing custody services related to securities clearing and settlement, and Others, including news and information technology (IT) services, among others.
