Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 515.69 million compared to MXN 532.02 million a year ago. Revenue was MXN 1,034.01 million compared to MXN 1,150.24 million a year ago.
Net income was MXN 414.88 million compared to MXN 478.73 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.72 compared to MXN 0.82 a year ago.
Bolsa Mexicana De Valores SAB de CV (BMV) is a Mexico-based company engaged in the financial market operations. The Company's activities are divided into six business segments: Stock Exchange, operating the Mexican stock exchange; Derivatives, listing and trading future and option contracts; Brokerage, providing brokerage services for securities enrolled in the National Securities Registry; Settlements, offering clearing and settlement services for financial and commodities derivatives and securities transactions; Custody, providing custody services related to securities clearing and settlement, and Others, including news and information technology (IT) services, among others.
