Brookline Bancorp, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 84.07 million compared to USD 78.03 million a year ago. Net income was USD 22.7 million compared to USD 30.15 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.26 compared to USD 0.39 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.26 compared to USD 0.39 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was USD 256.16 million compared to USD 219.74 million a year ago. Net income was USD 52.11 million compared to USD 80.05 million a year ago.
