Camurus AB announced that the company is preparing the move of its headquarters to new facilities in ?The Loop?, Science Village in Lund, Sweden. Having outgrown its current premises at Ideon Science Park, the purpose-built office and R&D laboratories will be ready in the fourth quarter of 2024, and support Camurus? continued international expansion.

The new headquarters will have the capacity for more than 200 employees in Lund. The Loop is a high-technology, climate-smart office and event property, and part of the Science Village ? an innovation hub for collaboration between academia, industry and research.

The property, which is owned and developed by Vectura Fastigheter, is a work and meeting place for larger and smaller companies with a total area of 10,520 square meters over six floors, where Camurus will hold the two upper floors. The Loop is designed with a high-quality environmental profile to minimize climate impact. The building will be LEED certified according to level Gold and, among other things, be equipped with an extensive solar cell plant and a district heating system that utilizes waste heat from nearby research facilities ESS and MAX IV.

The building also houses an auditorium with capacity for about 1,000 people and an outdoor environment consisting of large green areas and parks. Camurus is now working together with Vectura and partners to complete the new facility to set up a creative, functional and attractive workplace for current and future employees.
