Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 53,855.2 million compared to INR 85,867.5 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 54,672.8 million compared to INR 86,755.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,809.7 million compared to INR 2,742.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.15 compared to INR 6.59 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.15 compared to INR 6.59 a year ago.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the production of urea in its three plants located at Gadepan in Kota district of Rajasthan. The Companyâs segments include Own Manufactured and Complex, Crop Protection Chemicals and Specialty Nutrients, and Others. The Company is also engaged in marketing of other fertilizers and Agri-inputs, such as di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), muriate of potash (MOP), ammonium phosphate sulphate (APS), different grades of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK) fertilizers, Sulphur, micronutrients, and agrochemicals. Its crop protection products include insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. It caters to the needs of the farmers in approximately 10 states in northern, eastern, central, and western regions of India and is the fertilizer supplier in the state of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Its subsidiaries include CFCL Ventures Limited and Chambal Infrastructure Ventures Limited.
