CHIeru Co.,Ltd. (TSE:3933) entered into an agreement to acquire 70% stake in Nankai MJE Co., Ltd from MJE Inc for ¥100 million on February 28, 2023. Under the terms of transaction, CHIeru will acquire 140 shares of Nankai MJE and post completion,CHIeru Co.,Ltd will own 70% stake and MJE Inc will own 30% stake in Nankai MJE.Transaction is expected to complete on March 31, 2023.
CHIeru Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in school education ICT (information and communication technology ) business. The Company is engaged in planning, development, production and sale of systems and digital teaching materials for markets such as elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities and professional schools. The products and services for the high school, university and vocational school markets are based on the lecture support field, teaching material cloud service field, and operation management system field. The products and services for the elementary and junior high school markets are mainly based on the areas of class support and teaching materials.
